AWSが、AWS Parallel Computing Service（PCS）のTerraformサポートを発表しました。これにより、顧客はTerraformを使用してPCSクラスターを作成および管理できるようになります。

本日、AWS Parallel Computing Service（PCS）のTerraformサポートを発表しました。
顧客は今後、Terraformを使用してPCSクラスターを作成および管理できるようになります。
PCSは、Slurmを使用してAWS上で高性能コンピューティング（HPC）ワークロードの実行とスケーリング、科学的およびエンジニアリングモデルの構築を容易にします。
PCSはすでに、AWS Management Console、AWS Command Line Interface（CLI）、AWS APIを通じてHPC環境の管理をサポートしています。
今回のリリースにより、顧客はHashiCorp TerraformのInfrastructure as Code（IaC）ツールを使用してPCSインフラストラクチャを定義・デプロイし、既存のTerraformワークフローを通じてクラスターを管理できるようになりました。
この統合は、Terraform AWS Cloud Control Providerを通じて実現されています。

• AWS Command Line Interface（CLI）は、コマンドラインからAWSサービスを制御するためのツールです。開発者やシステム管理者が、スクリプトを通じてAWSリソースを管理したり、自動化タスクを実行したりするのに使用されます。CLIを使用することで、GUIを介さずに効率的にAWSリソースを操作できます。
• AWS Management Consoleは、AWSのサービスを管理するためのウェブベースのインターフェースです。ユーザーはこのコンソールを通じて、様々なAWSリソースを作成、設定、監視することができます。直感的なUIを提供し、AWSサービスの利用を容易にします。
• AWS Parallel Computing Service（PCS）は、AWS上で高性能コンピューティング（HPC）ワークロードを実行およびスケーリングするためのサービスです。Slurmと呼ばれるオープンソースのジョブスケジューラを使用して、科学的およびエンジニアリングモデルの構築を容易にします。PCSを使用することで、複雑なHPC環境の管理が簡素化され、研究者やエンジニアは計算リソースの管理よりも研究や開発に集中できるようになります。

Today, we are announcing Terraform support for AWS Parallel Computing Service (PCS). Customers can now use Terraform to create and manage their PCS clusters. PCS makes it easier to run and scale high performance computing (HPC) workloads and build scientific and engineering models on AWS using Slurm. PCS already supports managing your HPC environments through the AWS Management Console, AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), AWS CloudFormation, and AWS APIs. With this release, customers can now define and deploy their PCS infrastructure using the HashiCorp Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool, and manage clusters through their existing Terraform workflows. This integration is enabled through the Terraform AWS Cloud Control Provider.
